Millennium Stadium

The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff is one of the premier entertainment venues in the UK. Built for, and operated by, the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), it is a multi-purpose stadium for rugby, football and pop concerts as well as a host of other activities. Viewing capacity varies depending on the activity but it varies from 60,000 to 80,000 people. In 2005 the stadium hosted the UK concert for Tsunami Relief.

The stadium is situated right in the centre of Cardiff city centre and is easily reached by foot from the train and bus stations. Parking for cars is a bit of a nightmare especially on match/concert days when the surrounding streets are closed to traffic.
